Pour into a small group of girls and watch them bloom.
Mentors are the heartbeat of Dazzling G.E.M.S. As a GEM Mentor, you will walk alongside a small group of girls throughout the program year, guiding them through our four curriculum modules, building trust, and modeling what it means to be a woman of faith, character, and confidence. This is a year-long relational commitment and one of the most impactful roles in our organization.
What Mentors Do
- ◆Lead or co-lead a small group of 5–8 girls within one GEM level
- ◆Facilitate curriculum lessons during monthly sessions
- ◆Build consistent, trusting relationships with your group
- ◆Attend mentor training and quarterly planning meetings
- ◆Model godly character, grace, and emotional safety
- ◆Communicate with parents as needed alongside the Program Director
- ◆Participate in at least two signature events per year
Requirements
- ◆Must be a woman, age 21 or older
- ◆Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- ◆Must complete a background check at your own expense
- ◆Must complete Dazzling G.E.M.S. Mentor Training (approximately 4 hours)
- ◆Must commit to the full program year (October through August)
- ◆Must attend at least 75% of monthly sessions
- ◆Must agree to the Code of Conduct and Child Safety Policy
- ◆Must provide two character references (one from a pastor or ministry leader)
What to Expect After You Apply
- 1You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours.

- 3Phone or video interview (15–20 minutes)
- 4Reference check and background check instructions provided
- 5Mentor Training invitation
- 6GEM Level assignment and group placement
Safety & Screening
Background checks are required for all mentors. We will provide a list of approved providers in the Las Vegas area after your application is reviewed.
